Rescuers were still searching for six other sailors from the freighter Syrve which went down Friday night off the Turkish town of Kaynarca.
A port official in Eregli, northwest of Ankara, said the chance of finding the remaining six alive was slim.
Fifteen crew members were saved when their lifeboat reached land Saturday but one sailor in the boat died.
