The lower house of parliament's decision follows a Deloitte & Touche victory at a tender for the right to conduct the audit, said the official, who asked not to be named. Coopers & Lybrand performed the audit the previous two years.
Alexander Pochinok, deputy head of the Duma's budget committee, said a Russian company would be chosen next year to conduct the audit, Reuters reported.
