RBC Eyes Bloomberg Deal

RBC Television is in talks on launching the Russian version of Bloomberg Television, Alexander Lyubimov, chief executive of RBC Television, said at the Baltic PR Weekend conference, Vedomosti reported.

The channel might be launched in September 2013, he said.

No specific deals on the new channel have been concluded yet, a Bloomberg spokesman said. Currently, Bloomberg has an agreement to supply its content to RBC-TV.

RBC Television is also in talks with CNBC, said Sergei Lavrukhin, CEO of RBC, the Russian channel's parent company.
