President Dmitry Medvedev has met with mothers of children killed during the terrorist attack on a Beslan school in 2004, Kommersant reported Thursday.
Medvedev promised a new check into actions of local security officials who failed to prevent the attack.
The meeting was scheduled for May but postponed. More vocal Beslan critics of the Kremlin's handling of the siege were not invited.
