Ireland Says Visas to Stay

Ireland will not cancel visas for Russians because the current travel regime works well enough, Irish President Mary McAleese told Ekho Moskvy radio on Thursday.

Ireland grants visas to 97 percent of Russian applicants, most of whom are tourists or businessmen, said McAleese, who is on a five-day visit to Russia, the first-ever by an Irish president.
