Spartak bought Russian international defender Omari Tetradze from neighbors Dynamo Moscow, striker Valery Velichko from Belarus side Dynamo Minsk and Torpedo Moscow defender Andrei Afanasyev.
The club, which wrapped up its third consecutive national championship last month, was also about to conclude a deal with goalkeeper Ruslan Nigmatulin from KamAZ Naberezhnye Chelny, Tass quoted Spartak officials as saying Thursday.
Last season Spartak sold two strikers -- Vladimir Beschastnykh to Germany's Werder Bremen and Igor Ledyakhov to Sporting Gijon of Spain -- while midfielder Valery Karpin went to another Spanish side, Real Sociedad.
