What hurt was the feeling of helplessness and despair throughout Monday's game against the superior Brazilians. "I'll try to forget this game as soon as possible," said Russian head coach Pavel Sadyrin. "If I don't, I'll have nightmares." Russian goalkeeper Dmitry Kharin, his team's best player with three spectacular saves, said Russia was outclassed by the Brazilians. "They are extraordinary players," said Kharin, who plays for Chelsea in England. "I see them as the winners of the World Cup." He said he was helpless when Romario sliced the ball in straight ahead off a corner kick by Bebeto for the first goal. "He had me flat-footed," Kharin said. Striker Sergei Yuran, who was replaced in the second half, said: "It hurts. But they're a better team." "We now have to concentrate for the match against Sweden," Sadyrin said. "This is a crucial one for both teams."
