HOUSTON, Texas -- Hakeem Olajuwon scored 21 of his 28 points in the second half and Robert Horry hit two three-pointers near the end, helping the Houston Rockets remain unbeaten Tuesday with a 105-99 win over the Sacramento Kings.
Vernon Maxwell added 18 points and Kenny Smith and Otis Thorpe netted 15 for the defending-champion Rockets, who are off to a 7-0 start and have won 21 consecutive games in November. Houston started last season with an NBA record-tying 15 straight wins.
"The Kings have made great strides," Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich said. "We did all we could do to win. In the first half, we didn't play Rocket basketball. I think our two worst games have been here at home."
Magic 122, Bullets 102. In Orlando, Shaquille O'Neal scored 29 points as the Orlando Magic routed the Washington Bullets, 122-102 in the early-season battle for first in the Atlantic Division.
Horace Grant scored 21 points and added 13 rebounds and had four points in a 9-0 Magic run in the second quarter as Orlando took a 63-51 lead with 3:48 left in the half. Washington never got closer than 12 points the rest of the way.
The win by the Magic ties them with Washington atop the division at 4-2.
Suns 97, Trail Blazers 93. In Portland, Elliot Perry scored 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Phoenix Suns rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit to beat the Portland Trail Blazers, 96-93.
Bucks 82, Pacers 81. In Milwaukee, Glenn Robinson scored 18 points and Milwaukee survived the lowest-scoring half in its history as the Bucks held on for an 82-81 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Cavaliers 89, Hornets 86. In Cleveland, Chris Mills hit a three-pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime and Tyrone Hill hit a jumper with 35 seconds left in the extra period as the Cleveland Cavaliers claimed a low-scoring 89-86 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Hawks 110, Celtics 94. In Atlanta, Stacey Augmon scored 27 points and Ken Norman added 19, leading the Atlanta Hawks to their first home win of the season, 110-94, over the struggling Boston Celtics.
Norman scored 15 of his points in the first quarter, hitting all seven of his field goals, as the Hawks took control early.
Heat 114, Mavericks 102. In Miami, Kevin Gamble scored eight of his 12 points in a 19-5 run at the end of the first half to spark the Miami Heat to their first win of the season with a 115-102 triumph over the Dallas Mavericks.
Kevin Willis had 24 points and Harold Miner added 23 as Miami won for the first time this season.
Nets 112, SuperSonics 106. At New Jersey, Derrick Coleman scored 16 of his 25 points in the first quarter as the New Jersey Nets built a big lead and held on for a 112-106 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics. Kenny Anderson added 20 points and Armon Gilliam contributed 19 for the Nets.

Lakers 102, Clippers 92. At the Clippers, Cedric Ceballos and Vlade Divac scored 24 points apiece and the Los Angeles Lakers outscored the Los Angeles Clippers 31-12 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 102-92 victory over their crosstown rivals.
Timberwolves 114, Warriors 112. At Golden State, Isaiah Rider scored 35 points as the Minnesota Timberwolves gained their first win of the season with a 114-112 victory over the previously-undefeated Golden State Warriors.
The Timberwolves led by 17 midway through the fourth quarter but had to withstand a three-point barrage by Manute Bol to hang on for the victory.
