newkaliningrad.ru

Radioactive green water coming out of a fountain in western Russia has prompted authorities to assure residents that the aliens did not invade their city.

Footage showing the fluorescent fountain in the city of Kaliningrad appeared on social media Thursday.

“Friends, the aliens did not ‘poison’ the fountain,” the Kaliningrad mayor’s office said later that day.

“It’s just that someone poured antifreeze in there. We’re looking through every camera to find them,” it said.

Municipal workers plan to refill the fountain with regular water soon, local media cited the mayor’s office as saying.
