A bomb threat prompted an evacuation at one of Russia's leading film studios, Mosfilm, though the threat turned out to be a hoax, a news report said.
An unidentified man called in the bomb threat on Sunday, a Moscow police spokesman said, RIA Novosti reported. A spokeswoman for the studio, Olga Vasilyeva, said the caller was apparently a movie extra who made the call in response to a work-related conflict.
A search of a building in Mosfilm's sprawling compound at 1 Mosfilmovskaya Ulitsa, in western Moscow, found no explosives, the police spokesperson said.
LifeNews reported that at least 150 people were evacuated following the bomb threat. The caller phoned twice, specifying during the second call that the bomb was planted in a pavilion where the "Subbotny Vecher," or "Saturday Night," show was being filmed for the Rossiya television channel, the report said.
