55 years ago today, on Oct. 14, 1958, writer and translator Nikolai Zabolotsky passed away due to a heart attack. Zabolotsky is most famous for being one of the founders of the Oberiu avant-garde literary group. It was famous for composing a large amount of absurd poems and stories.
