ROSTOV-ON-DON — Four suspected militants have been killed in Kabardino-Balkaria, authorities said.
An Interior Ministry spokesman in the North Caucasus region said Thursday that three of the four men were wanted for "grave crimes." Police say the fourth man was responsible for procuring ammunition and food.
The men were killed in a special operation outside the city of Nalchik late Wednesday night after they had holed up in a house. One policeman was wounded.
