Five hunters were found slain in a forest in Dagestan on Monday morning.
The men, aged between 28 and 41, were tied up with wire and then shot, a spokesperson for the region's Investigative Committee told RIA-Novosti.
The committee believes local militants to be responsible for the killings. The attack is the latest in a series of similar slayings of hunters in the North Caucasus in recent years.
