New Harvest Projections

Russia’s grain harvest may fall below 70 million metric tons as yields drop amid the worst drought in at least a decade, the SovEcon research group said Tuesday.

That is less than the lowest estimate of 77 million tons predicted last week by the Russian Grain Producers’ Union and the 85 million tons estimated by the Agriculture Ministry.
