Gazprom's main contractors, Stroigazkonsalting and Stroigazmontazh, have expanded their business with the state gas monopoly and may have accounted for over half of business orders provided by Gazprom last year, Vedomosti reported.
Consolidated revenue of Gazprom's biggest contractor Stroigazkonsalting, owned by Ziyad Manasir, grew 16.5 percent last year to 387.8 billion rubles ($11.8 billion), the company's representative Victoria Mironova said.
Revenue of Gazprom's major contractor Stroigazmontazh, owned by Arkady Rotenberg, grew by 34 percent in 2012 to 325 billion rubles, while its net profit had doubled to reach 29.6 billion rubles, according to data provided by business information system SPARK-Interfax.
Analyst of UralSib Capital Alexei Kokin believes the combined share of both companies' in Gazprom's investment program for 2012 could exceed 50 percent.
