A federal judge Tuesday warned the NBA and its players to resolve their dispute over the highly-charged issues of a salary cap, college draft and free agency before he rules on them.
At the end of a day-long trial, U.S. District Judge Kevin Duffy told both sides they might be unhappy and called on them to resume negotiations. The judge said he would rule "promptly" after reviewing final papers to be submitted to him by noon Wednesday.
