A Russian bus conductor could face criminal charges after forcing a nine-year-old girl without a ticket to walk home in sub-zero temperatures.
The child was thrown off the bus in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg despite temperatures outside reaching minus 30 degrees Celsius.
The conductor made no attempt to contact the girl's parents or the police when the child was found to have no money or travel document, the Sverdlovsk region Investigative Committee said in a statement.
Investigators have opened a criminal case on health and safety charges.
