Investigators on Wednesday searched the offices of Finprombank, one of the country's top 150 lenders.
The search is part of ongoing criminal investigations into individuals with accounts at Finprombank and is not directed at the activity of the bank itself, Finprombank's lawyer, Alexander Kabanov, told ITAR-TASS.
It is unclear which investigations the search concerns.
The bank is continuing to work as normal, Kabanov said.
Founded in 1992, Finprombank is the country's 135th largest bank with 31.6 billion rubles ($886 million) in assets at the end of 2013, according to rating agency RIA rating.
