Moscow Metro Buys Land

An additional 1.5 billion rubles ($53.6 million) has been allotted to the budget of the Moscow metro for the purchase of 48 lots in the city this year, RIA-Novosti reported.

That sum is part of a total 2.7 billion ruble supplement to its budget that the Moscow City Duma approved last week, said Vera Chistova, head of the city finance department.
