Drunk Interrupts Flight

A Moscow-New York flight had to execute an unplanned landing in Stockholm on Wednesday after a young Russian man got drunk on cognac and started harassing the other passengers, Prime-Tass reported.

The man, who fell asleep after being detained by police, was to be deported from Sweden, a Stockholm airport spokesman said. He did not identify the man but said he was a Russian citizen aged between 25 and 30, RIA-Novosti reported.

The Delta Air Lines flight stayed in Sweden for about 30 minutes before proceeding on its way, the reports said.
