Former Rosneft head Sergei Bogdanchikov has sold his stake in the company, several sources close to Rosneft said Friday.
Bogdanchikov owned 126,672 shares that he acquired during the Rosneft initial public offering in 2006, according to a company report. Bogdanchikov said at the time that he bought Rosneft shares for about $1 million.
New Rosneft CEO Eduard Khudainatov acquired 300,000 shares of the company Friday, according to a regulatory filing. They are worth 60.5 million rubles ($2 million) based on Friday’s closing price.
