ALMATY, Kazakhstan () -- Three children died after they were injected with a measles vaccine provided by the UN Children's Fund, Itar-Tass reported Wednesday.
Kazakhstan officials and a team of experts from the World Health Organization have determined that doctors in the city of Kustanai in northern Kazakhstan observed all rules for use of the vaccine, the agency reported.
Kazakh health authorities have ordered all further vaccination suspended and sent the vaccine's samples to Geneva for further analysis.
