Tourist Held at Kiev Airport

A Russian female tourist was arrested Friday at Kiev’s Borispol Airport after a police dog found two kilograms of cocaine worth 3.1 million hryvnas ($394,000) in her bag, Ukraine’s ProUA.com reported.

The drugs were found under a false bottom in the bag as the 20-year-old woman stood in the arrival hall after landing on a flight from Paris. If convicted of drug smuggling, she faces up to 12 years in prison.
