Ruble Drops a Point

MOSCOW -- The ruble lost one point against the dollar Friday during trading on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange, closing at 2,012 per dollar. Net trading volume was $6.05 million, with initial supply of $66.05 million and initial demand for $68.4 million. . The ruble fell 10 points against the Deutsche mark, closing at 1,280 per mark. Some ruble exchange figures in Friday's paper were incorrect. The ruble fell three points against the dollar Thursday, from 2,008 to 2,011 per dollar, while the Deutsche mark rose 19 points from 1,251 to 1,270 rubles.
