Romanian Grain Boom

BUCHAREST -- Romania plans to export 500,000 tons of wheat from its expected bumper 1994 grain crop to Russia and Ukraine in exchange for crude oil, the Agriculture Ministry said Tuesday. "We will export 500,000 tons of wheat from this year's crop," a senior ministry official said, adding that Russia and Ukraine "can pay with crude oil for it."
