Minsk Starts Rationing

MINSK () -- Consumers in parts of Belarus have been issued with ration cards to alleviate serious shortages of staple foods and ministers in neighboring Ukraine were planning to take similar measures.


Residents of Mogilyov and Vitebsk, in eastern Belarus, have received cards letting them buy 400 grams of cheese and 200 grams of butter every month.
