Cambridge, with two German world champions in their crew, beat Oxford by 20 seconds to win the 140th Varsity boat race.
Cambridge dominated Saturday's race from start to finish to win by 6.5 lengths and registered their first back-to-back victory for 21 years. They broke Oxford's six-year run of successes last year with a 3.5 length triumph.
It was Cambridge's 71st victory in the annual event, although only their third in the past 19 years, against 68 by Oxford and one dead heat.
