Australia to Face Canada

BURY, England () -- Friday's semifinal opponents Australia and Canada took a relaxing approach Thursday as they both won their last round-robin games of the world lacrosse championship.

Australia beat Japan 26-6 as it rested key players, while those playing used the match as a warm-up for the semifinal. Cameron Twomey led the scoring for Australia with five goals.

Canada took it easy in the first quarter when the Iroquois Nationals took a 5-3 lead into quarter time, but managed to claw back into the game to win 20-16.
