MOSCOW () -- Coopers and Lybrand has begun a $2 million audit of Perm Motors, a leading manufacturer of engines for civil aviation, Interfax reported Friday.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development provided the money for the audit and for draft recommendations to improve the company's performance, the news agency said.
Perm Motors produces the PS-90 engine for the Ilyushin 96-300 and the Tupolev 204 aircraft. It is currently working with Pratt & Whitney to produce an updated version of the engine
