An exhibition, titled "Fans in Oriental and Western Art Culture," is running at the Oriental Art Museum. The collection of nearly 500 objects brings together a large part of the collection of renowned art expert, fashion historian and collector Alexander Vasilev and pieces from Moscow museums and other private collections. On display are fans from China, Japan, Western Europe and Russia spanning the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition runs to May 18 at the museum, located at 12 Nikitsky Bulvar.
