A Russian tanker has been fined for polluting the waters of the Georgian port of Poti, the Interfax news agency reported Tuesday.
Georgia's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection handed Russian tanker Nefterudovoz 21M a 65,000 lari ($32,000) fine for causing environmental damage, according to Interfax.
The vessel will remain in the port of Poti until the fine is paid, the report said.
