The government must consult with the media over new legislation on insider trading, President Dmitry Medvedev told reporters Tuesday.
He said many had fears that the law could restrict the flow of information or be used to persecute reporters, Interfax reported. The proposed legislation prohibits spreading “false or misleading information” about company activities through the media.
