Vnukovo Airport transported 3.7 million more passengers in January-May 2013 than it did in the same five months of last year, a rise of 14.9 percent, Interfax reported.
The airport serviced 61,000 flights, a 7 percent year-on-year increase. In May alone, passenger flows grew 12.1 percent year on year to 915,800 people. Vnukovo transported 476,200 passengers on domestic routes, and 439,600 passengers traveled on international routes. Vnukovo served more than 10 million people last year.
