Gazprom Neft Eyes Plant

Gazprom Neft is planning to buy a lubricant plant in Finland or the Baltics, Gazprom Neft Lubricants CEO Alexander Trukhan told reporters.

"The Northern European market is very promising for us," he said. "Right now we are supplying small batches there from a plant in Bari, Italy. But it would be more logical to reduce the logistics and have our own plant, for example, in Finland, Estonia or Latvia."

Gazprom Neft is eyeing lubricant plants not far from the border with Russia and capable of producing at least 30,000 tons of lubricants a year.
