InfoWatch Group is acquiring Canadian software developer Appercut Security, InfoWatch said in a press release, Interfax reported.
"Appercut Security's software product is a logical addition to the solutions in InfoWatch's product line, as it makes it possible to control another internal threat to the information security of our corporate system," InfoWatch chief executive Natalya Kasperskaya said in the release.
At the end of last year, InfoWatch acquired Germany's EgoSecure, giving it access to the market for solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
InfoWatch Group now includes InfoWatch itself, Kribrum, EgoSecure and Natalya Kasperskaya Innovation Center.
Appercut Security was founded in 2010 by InfoWatch deputy chief executive Rustem Khairetdinov.
