A day after being sentenced to 240 hours of community service for striking Ulyanovsk student Anna Pozdnyakova, Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov said that he was summoned for questioning for allegedly threatening her grandmother.
But Udaltsov called the whole situation a circus, saying the woman had been harassing him for a month, repeatedly calling to swear at him.
"Pozdnyakova's grandmother is accusing me of threats. The circus continues," he wrote on Twitter.
"Actually, for the past month someone calling themselves the 'grandmother of Anna Pozdnyakova' has called me many times," he wrote. "From this 'grandmother,' I usually hear a lot of swear words in my address, and I immediately hang up. Maybe I should file a complaint too?"
Udaltsov said his questioning at the Moscow police headquarters was set for 5 p.m. Friday.
