Helicopter Air Blast Causes Injuries

A helicopter flies over Moscow. Andrei Makhonin

Two people were injured after a blast of air from a helicopter knocked over a metal fence, which fell on the victims.

The incident happened Saturday evening at a building on a main thoroughfare in northern Moscow, Leningradsky Prospect, a police source told Interfax.

A gust of wind created by the helicopter's landing caused a metal fence enclosing a construction site to fall on a 5-year-old child and his grandmother, sending both to the hospital with serious head injuries and concussions.
