The Honda CR-V crossover is the most popular car with thieves in Moscow this year, with the Mitsubishi Lancer occupying the second spot and the Mazda 3 coming in third, anti-theft system maker Echelon-Geolife said, RIA-Novosti reported Wednesday.
The Toyota Land Cruiser ranked fourth, and the Honda Accord fifth, Echelon-Geolife said. No Russia-made cars made it to the top 10.
Moscow’s Southwestern Administrative District led the city districts in the number of car thefts, the report said.
KM.ru said 20 to 25 attempted car thefts are reported citywide daily.
