Security Council in Moscow

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Tuesday created a council to coordinate the activities of Moscow’s police and other security agencies, RIA-Novosti reported.

The new body, established by a Kremlin decree aimed at reinforcing security in the regions and signed by President Dmitry Medvedev on Saturday, will hold its first meeting Wednesday.
