Bomb Bucket at School

A middle school student in the Novgorod region town of Trubichino brought a bomb made using a bucket, bolt screws and 400 grams of TNT to his school Monday, RIA-Novosti reported.

The bomb was disarmed by a bomb squad, the report said. Local police did not release the name of the suspect, but said he was in the eighth grade.

Another 200-gram trinitrotoluene block was found in the home of the student, who faces up to four years in prison on charges of trafficking illegal explosives. It remained unclear where the explosives came from.
