President Dmitry Medvedev will open a second Twitter blog — a private one, Kremlin spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said Thursday, Interfax reported.
Medvedev will personally write all posts for the new blog, named MedvedevRussia, she said.
His current account, KremlinRussia, which has more than 120,000 followers, will become “more official,” with more news on the presidential agenda and will be contributed to by Kremlin staff.
The new Twitter will be “more personal,” but all the followers from KremlinRussia will be saved there, Interfax said.
