Aeroflot plans to quadruple passenger traffic and revenue by 2025 to $18 billion, taking advantage of the growing market, Vedomosti reported Wednesday, citing a copy of the company’s strategy it obtained.
Sales this year are about $4.5 billion.
Passenger traffic may reach 80 million people by 2025, up from 19.9 million the carrier expects this year. Aeroflot will also set up a separate charter company and a low-cost airline as a part of its new strategy.
