Long Wait for VWs

Russians are waiting as long as a year to buy Volkswagen Polo sedans made in Kaluga, after the automaker underestimated domestic demand for its 399,000 ruble ($13,000) car, Vedomosti reported Monday, citing dealers.

Volkswagen started selling the car in June and delivering in September, the paper said. Volkswagen has 4,000 more orders than it planned to make in 2010, Vedomosti said.
