Cash Van Goes Up in Flames

A short-circuit in an armored van’s engine caused a fire that engulfed the vehicle and destroyed all the cash it was carrying in southwestern Moscow on Wednesday, Interfax reported.

No one was injured in the fire.

The driver and a guard accompanying him said the van was transporting an unspecified amount of money, which they did not manage to save, Interfax reported.
