AvtoVAZ will name its new low-budget sedan the Lada Granta, after the name won out in a contest involving 49,000 people.
The Granta, which will replace AvtoVAZ’s classic models when they go out of production in 2012, was the name submitted by Pavel Zakharov and was selected by a jury including AvtoVAZ president Igor Komarov.
