In light wind, Young America, skippered by Kevin Mahaney, earned its second victory in as many races Tuesday over the women and now leads the America's Cup defender scoreboard.
At one point, the women were almost 13 minutes behind Young America, but closed the gap over the final six miles of the 30-kilometer course. On Tuesday, Team New Zealand easily defeated Tag Heuer Challenge.
