"President Savimbi manifests his willingness to go to Lusaka to sign the agreement providing the Angolan government stops its attacks on Huambo immediately," Savimbi's office said in a statement read out on UNITA radio.
Savimbi and Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos were due to sign the peace accord in Lusaka on Nov. 15 but the attack on Huambo has thrown doubt on whether they now will.
