Mihai Lesnic, deputy head of the Moldgaz state company, told Moldovan radio that daily consumption would have to drop to seven million cubic meters from the 14 million it was using before last Thursday's cut-off.
He said Moldgaz had already cut supplies to industrial enterprises, with some exceptions.
