Of the three players who returned to their Moscow teams Sunday because of the NHL lockout in North America, only Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Nikolai Barshchevsky, playing for Spartak, figured in the scoring.
Barshchevsky netted Spartak's only goal late in the third period in a 7-1 losing effort to Dinamo before 3,000 fans at Maly Arena.
After the game, Barshchevsky and forward Vitaly Prokhorov, of the San Jose Sharks, said they felt rusty from their layoff but glad to be back on the ice again.
Defenseman Alexander Karpovtsev of the New York Rangers, who rejoined Dinamo last week for a game against Khimik of Voskresensk, also played Sunday.
The three Russians are scheduled to join a host of other NHL stars, including the Vancouver Canucks' Pavel Bure and the Detroit Red Wings' Sergei Fedorov, in a charity exhibition tournament against several Russian teams.
The first match will pit the NHL squad against Spartak in Moscow on Nov. 4.
