NAZRAN -- A court in Ingushetia has ruled that police illegally detained Magomed Yevloyev, owner of the web site Ingushetiya.ru who was shot dead while in custody.
Authorities said Yevloyev died in a police car after being detained Aug. 31.
Musa Pliyev, who represents Yevloyev's family, said Wednesday that he is pushing for murder charges against the police.
